The Romans

They settle
in Lisbon, that they called the city Olissip,
This occupation
was done initially for commerce purposes, but they stayed and made all the
services they need: The theatre, the thermae,
factories for garum and others.

This ir one of the pools used for garum production. Garum is a luxury sauce made from fish (in Lisbons case sardines were used, in the south of the country they used tuna fish) which was exports in amphorae to Rome and throughout the Empire
